Laughter is the Best Medicine

CCHRC visited the Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga, TN.  The staff and residents had so much fun. The Tennessee Aquarium staff and accommodations are top notch. They made sure the residents had front row to all the action.  Our program “Laughter is the Best Medicine” has been going strong since implementation June 2023. Resident council gets together monthly to talk about what new things they would like to do.  At CCHRC, we don’t want anyone to feel limited. If a resident has an idea, and we are able to accommodate with safety measures in place, we do our best to make that idea happen. Residents at CCHRC voted and signed up for this trip during their resident council meeting. We are so thankful to our staff who volunteers to help facilitate this program and make trips like this possible. Everyone had a blast and it was a wonderful day.
